Re: ASM father signing off on rank advancement?

Am I missing something here. I have seen about 10 responces now and all
argue as to whether a father, who is an ASM can, sign off on a
lower rank requirement for his son.

No one person has mentioned that that is the job of Patrol Leaders.
that is why we have them that is what we train them for.. and that is
one of the things that SM's reviews during their confrence.

Of course it helps to have someone peeking over their shoulder..
espically
to make sure that they have such thing as the required number of events..
