Gotta go along with Jim in everything he says. Took the words right out of
my keyboard. It is bothersome to my mind to sense the level of mistrust
and/or tendency to further burden the SM who is taking the kids to camp by
saying "fork it out yourself."
We take $300.00 and it generally all goes: meal expenses for leadership over
the two the camp includes, leader t-shirts, pizza after the water carnival....
By the by, we, for he past two years, have purchased (for resale to Scouts)
simple basketry, leather, and wood carving materials before we go to camp.
This ensures availability of (cheaper) supplies....
