Flannel Board

The Young Family (doublefox@YUCCA.NET)
Fri, 30 Apr 1999 23:24:07 -0600

I made mine on a big folding cardboard cutting board. I got it in the
fabric department.

I also had a problem glueing the flannel on and solved it by pulling the
material around the edge and using Elmers glur. It soaks thru the material
so you have to get it to the back side. I could not find any dark colored
material so I bought a light shade and dyed it with Rit dye. I use flannel
or sand paper to hold my things on but do use velcro it something is extra
heavy. I also brush up the nap on the board every now and then. Mine has
lasted for about 15 years .
