In response to the query concerning "Fiscal Year", it was correctly
pointed out that a fiscal year is simply the time period over which your
organization keeps it books. It was also correctly pointed out that the
assets of a Scout unit belong to the chartered organization and not to
the unit itself. By extention then, it would seem that the unit's
fiscal year would coincide with the fiscal year of the chartered
organization, since the unit is an extention or subdivision of that
organization.
