Bobbie,

As a commissioner I didn't write what you're about to read.

It's time for a paper exercise. Reigster one person as CM, then register
two people who show up for meetings as MCs and a third as CC. Now you have
your unit leader and a working committee. You say you still need DLs? You
just registered them. WLs? CAs? Those four people can do it all, and I've
seen successful units do it. But those four people wil burn out within two
years unless you can get them some more support. But you do NOT NEED a
registered CA. You won't earn Quality Unit this year, but the boys' program
is far more important, isn't it? BSA doesn't need registered no-shows; their
dues are not needed to keep the program going. And, as others have been
posting, if the whiners want to change
things then they'll have to show up or shut up.

Ralph (I'm going incognito with fellow commissioner Marcel)
