A Scout holds his "candidate status" for one year following his
election. This in most instances covers the period of two loadge held
ordeals........ most lodges I am aware of hold one in the sprin and one
in the fall....
You mention an ordeal at summer camp... I hav ento been that many places
but I have never heard of this before.. ((of course that does nto mean
it does not happen))
but what purpose does this serve.. one it robs a Scout of a day of
summer camp activity... and second what about scouts from out of
coucil... as you can not attend an ordeal given by another lodge... you
must attend one of the lodge by which you were elected...
hey maybe you are confusing the "call out" at summer camp with the ordeal...
