I would be curious too since wool is also type of fur, at least as it is
used in the making of felt. And I am aware that different kinds of fur
must produce different grades of felt, because the fashion trend for
"beaver felt" hats was a driving force for westward exploration and
expansion (and exploitation) and nearly wiped out the beaver in many
areas. And finally, Stetson etc make their hats with different "X"
grades of felt. Interesting question.
