Adult recruitment

The Watkins Family (watkins@MTCO.COM)

Hi,

I believe that not only is the phrase "recruit the boy and you'll often
get the parent as an adult leader" true, but the converse should also be
true - get the parent, and the boy will likely follow. So I agreed to
participate in our District's Pathways to Scouting Webelos Weekend in a
Leader Recruitment session. I am looking for your sage advice on what
kind of demonstrations, exhibits, activities, or discussions might
convey the joys and satisfactions of being a Scouter. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

YIS,
Andrew Watkins
