Our troop uses this form of advancement tracking/display. We have just
added 12 new scouts from our Pack to the existing 8 boys. In my SM
conference with each of the boys at least half of them asked how soon their
name would be on the board. I like the idea of each boy making his own,
that increases the likelihood that it will happen this month.
We have kept the names of all the Eagle on the board even after they have
left the Troop. Prior to our new arrivals that list was longer than the
others combined.
