</color><FontFamily><param>Times New Roman</param>As far as I know, you're reading the requirements right, but let me tell
you how we do it in my den. <bigger>
<smaller>We meet 3 times a month, the fourth week is the pack meeting, so the
boys and I (along with a parent "volunteer") learn one of the activity
pins. I keep track of who's attended the den meetings, what requirements
we did during those den meetings, etc. Before it's time to give our pack
advancement person the report, I look over the list and remind boys what
they need to finish up to achieve the pin. Most of the time all of my
boys will have completed the pin during the den meetings, and if they
missed one meeting, they make up the work either at the next den
meeting, or at home and turn in the documentation to me. <bigger>

<smaller>So yes, while there are requirements and they do need to be completed, it
is still possible for all the boys to receive the pins at the same time.<bigger>

<smaller>So far, this has worked pretty well with both my Webelos den and going
back to when my 17 year old was in Webelos.<bigger>

<smaller>I think I have a problem in my pack, but I'm not sure whas.<bigger>

<smaller>We have two Webelos den's right now (the other two just c<bigger>
<smaller>over a couple months back). The one I work in, with 6 boy<bigger>
<smaller>the other with 11 boys and a husband wife team who are ne<bigger>
<smaller>year to being leaders.<bigger>

<smaller>From what I've seen here on the list, the boys in my den gger>
<smaller>progressing at a pace i thought was normal. Even though w<bigger>
<smaller>a "theme" activity badge each month, some boys miss a meeigger>
<smaller>or two or some don't complete some of the requirements ouof<bigger>
<smaller>the den meetings, so they get badges at different times.<>

<smaller>At our last den meeting, I noticed that every boy in the oden<bigger>
<smaller>got exactly the same achievement, fitness and Webelos rankger>
<smaller>When I looked back I noticed it had been the same every mobigger>

<smaller>What raised a question in my mind was that I have been ledigger>
<smaller>believe it is difficult to get a larger den to pass fitness all at once<bigger>
<smaller>with the "6 exercises continuous for 30 day".<bigger>

<smaller>I guess what I'm asking is, am I being to rigid with my boys? I<bigger>
<smaller>always thought a requirement was a requirement. If it says "do<bigger>
<smaller>this" I have expected them to "do this". I thought the program was<bigger>
<smaller>designed to prepare them for the challenges that hey would face in<bigger>
