While Bryon makes some good points, his suggestion bypasses the most
frequently heard of the complaints, Too Expensive. Going to the
suppliers suggested would simply increase the cost, not addressing the
problem. BDUs remain the best, LOW COST alternative. Why, Because a lot
of study went into design of them and the quantities produced are
humongous. Yes, I agree We need to suggest change but in this
country(and I hadn't heard that BSA had moved offshore), you also have
the right to challenge as long as its done in a lawful manner. BSa is
interested in increasing membership. Maybe a better gang uniform is part
of the solution. And not the idea of Scouting as a gang is not mine, I
got it out of Scouting Magazine.
