Hi All,
There was no NASCAAR yesterday, so I got some work done for an up
and coming Fun W/ Son Weekend. I'm going to talk to the parents and
introduce the Aims and Methods of Scouting (got some WEBELOS
crossing over with new parents). The emphasis being put on Adult
Association.
Does anybody have any yeah or nays on presenting this subject to
parents? I'm going to try to keep it to 15 - 20 minutes and have the sons
working on Scout Skills while I talk to the parents.
Going to do that turkey in a reflector oven again. Last year the parents
where giving me until 7:30pm before they would call for pizza. But, the
birds (two 25lb turkeys) were done by 5:30 and delicious. Does anybody
have any other ideas for cooking (breakfast or lunch) for about 50
people?
YiS (Yours in Scouting)
