Announcing a new list for Boy Scout Roundtable Staffers

Alan Houser (troop24@EMF.NET)
Wed, 24 Feb 1999 08:40:18 -0800

In a momentary lapse of reason, perhaps, I agreed to become our
District RoundTable Commissioner. Despite 9 years of going to
roundtables, including leading a number of programs from time to
time, I find myself a bit apprehensive about actually planning the
full program. But, as a Bobwhite, I know about using resources...

With the capable and generous support of my friend Doug Gentry, we
have put together a new email list, BSRT, under the Bowline family
of Scouting lists.

The purpose of this new list is to provide support to Boy Scout
RoundTable staff members, but is open to anyone with an interest in
providing program support to Scoutmasters and other troop leaders.
It is expected that discussion on the list would focus on planning
Boy Scout RoundTable programs rather than on troop-level issues.
