Terry,
I don't know about BSA policy but I think you did the right thing. The
boys need to know that you will follow through with consequences when you
issue directions (especially safety related ones) and they are not followed.
On the flip side, I've read recently (wish I could remember when, it was
most likely the Atlanta Journal/Constitution) that the laser pens are not as
dangerous as was previously led to believe.
