I been tellin' and tellin' y'all this! <g> The professional BSA folks I
worked with at the National Jamboree in '97 had just found out that
their jobs were going to move to North Carolina about 2 weeks before
they had to leave for A.P. Hill. What compassionate timing... One of
the women working at Trading Post B said that her daughters weren't
speaking to her when she left. They did _not_ want to leave Texas. I
certainly can understand that. ;D
(I also should explain that the professional Scouters that manage the
Trading Posts at National Jamborees are all from the Supply Division. I
believe that there were 8 from Supply at TPB and the other 2 Trading
Posts
had at least that many. The Scout Shop may have had more.)
I don't know when the official switch was, but most of them were working
there by September or October of '97. At least, most of the
professionals I worked with at Trading Post B. So I'd say that supply
has been located in North Carolina for more than a year.
