Just made the abacus from the abacus project in the February Baloo's Bugle
(http://usscouts.org/bbugle/bb9902/index.html) for "show and tell" at the
Mountain Rifle District Cub Scout Roundtable tomorrow night. Can't believe
how easy it is! Even made mine without the cardboard backing. I think you
could make this easily with boys and Alene's Tacky Glue (we use the one that
advertises itself as being as tacky as hot glue -- pink and white bottle).
I also thought that you could do this with Webelos working on the Scholar
activity pin. Or with boys working on the Math belt loop.
Great idea...
