A few Questions

Folks...

I've been gone for a while, so I'm not even going to try to work on any of
the current threads. Instead, I've got a few Qs of my own. Feel free to
respond off-list if you wish.

1. Popcorn sales, is it just me, or did anyone get prizes this year? The
only ones I saw were what were previously 'major' prizes. And, a new
scholarship opportunity. I was hoping on getting some of my older son's
transition to Boy Scout equipment this year. Yes, I know each council is
different. Both my sons sold $250 by themselves, no help or big buys from
Mom & Dad. Yet, they haven't been given a prize list or gotten a pin or
patch.

2. Rock climbing is still off limits for cub scouts, isn't it? I was under
the impression that it was, even if it was done in an indoor gym. I know
it's been a few years since my basic training. But, I didn't think it would
have changed.

3. What happened to the Cub Scout Academic loop that was supposed to start
in January for computers? It's not in the stores, or catalog. I went to
the store (stocking up on PW derby stuff) and asked about it. The clerk
looked at me as if I was loony (another topic all together.)

Thanks for any answers or assistance you can give me.
