Hello Scouters!

As we move into the second half of January, with our Pack's families
deeply engrossed in building Pinewood Derby cars, we Cub Leaders are
starting to focus our attentions on BLUE & GOLD BANQUET preparations.

To assist you with your planning, we are proud to announce a new family
of web pages on "The Virtual Cub Leader's Handbook" entitled "THE BLUE
AND GOLD BANQUET - SCOUTING'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, CUB SCOUT STYLE!"

These pages couple program material from "The Cub Scout Leader's Book"
and the "Cub Scout Leader's HOW-TO Book" with Pow Wow and roundtable
materials to create a B & G mega-resource!

Included are:

- The Banquet Committee roles
- Physical Arrangements Team roles
- Program Team roles
- Dinner Team roles
- Invitations Ideas
- Ceremonies for the Blue and Gold
- Games for the Blue and Gold
- Skits for the Blue and Gold
- Decorations and Crafts Ideas

and a special page on:

- Searching The Web For B & G ideas

Stop by and check it out (See URL below.) It just might help you
improve 'ol Scouting's 89th birthday!

Yours in Scouting:

Don
