Steve,
There are two alternatives that we have seen & used for Eagle
Invitations that I like.
One is by creating the invitation using "Greetings Workshop" or any
other similar card making program. This leaves only having to acquire
smaller envelopes to put the cards in.
The second is to just print the information about the ceremony on a
normal 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper, this would use a normal #10 envelope
to mail.
Either of these look quite nice if graphics are used and even better if
printed on a color printer. Color Scout/Eagle graphics are everywhere,
and can easily be snagged of many of the sites on the Internet.
I personally like the 8 1/2 x 11 sheet more, but this is just personal
preference. We have a Committee Member in our Troop that has the ok
from his place of business to print stuff for us that really makes
things easier ( and more cost effective). You might check this out at
your next Committee Meeting.
