Great points you list there Robert.

I will tell you the driving force behind my personal security measures
on the net, that 13 year old wanna-be hacker that would just love to
call someone at 3am just to get them to answer the phone. That is why I
try to keep things obscure.

In reality if you want to know how the "sickos" get kids it is mentioned
in that famous story about the girl who is met by the cop at home after
being followed around. It is also mentioned in the news as kids go to
far cities to be with a friend they met on the internet..

They all met in the "Chat channels". There the adult who wants to get
with someone of a lesser age, can go through all the steps it takes to
get to them that is listed in the BSA YP film. You can't do any of that
via a web page. No contact or anything via a web page.

Any way, just my view of things.
