The one award that hangs above my Silver Beaver, District Award of Merit and
others is the Scouter's Wife Award presented to my wife in 1993. At the time
we had no children and I was averaging 18 nights per month out of the house
"Scouting." Scouting has been a large part of my life. She was there when I
received my Eagle Award and just last month when I received my 25 year award.
She joking asked if I could now retire but at age 33 was doubtful. This is an
award that has been presented every year in each of the districts of our
Council to say thanks in a lot of ways I recommend it highly, along with some
roses it works miracles.
