Hello, Scouters Of The List!

Michael Caldwell <mikecaldwell@WEBTV.NET> did say,
Subject: YiS

>>"Fellow Scouters, In a lot of post I've read in the past few days, I
see the reference to YiS. I can figure most of the other abrev's. but
this one. New to Scouts-L>>"

Thank Youuuu Michael for asking that question.
As one of the primary advocates for "BLE"(Big Grin)(Better List
Etiquette), I will once again say, That We Have New Faces on Here
Alllllll the Time, Many New to Scouting as Well, We All Need To Be More
Self-Explanatory.

How are You expected to know that "YiS" is Yours in Scouting, or that
"IMHO" is, In My Humble Opinion, or "BTW" is By The Way?
Certainly a number of these "SLQ"(Scout Lingo Quickies-a/k/a/(Also Known
As) Abbreviations) are more common than others. CM, SM, SPL, ROFLMAO,
are some of the more common, "SPD"(See Practically Daily)!

Mike, you are probably wondering if this post was created with my
TIC(Tongue-in-Cheek) and a <BG>(Big Grin), Yup, "YAR", Now C'mon, You
Can Get That One?

This is/was my way of answering your question, and reiterating again,
that Scouters "NTR" (Need To Remember) that our ranks are often breached
by a fresh, young face, "WDAC" (Who Doesn't Have a Clue!) What some of
us are saying, unless they are pacific, um, specific!

Seasons's Greeting To All!

I have asked repeatedly, others have joined the chorus, to PLEASE
identify your 'scouting shorthand', by explaining it (inside these
things) after they type the
