While I am sure it is not your intent I'm sure that some might interpret it as
gloating perhaps. I can think of two dads in our troop whose sons have long
left scouting who made Life and finished just short of Eagle. I think they
were very much in their character, citizenship ,and fitness that of an Eagle,
However they fell short of this honor mainly because of poor leadership at the
troop level. I would not want to show something on my uniform for something my
son was awarded. It's his honor not mine (though I am immensely proud of him;
22 years old college graduate in Computer Science who is working in his field
)
