beginning to smile), wouldn't it have been better to recognize those who
helped."

Reply-This TIC(Tongue-In-Cheek) 'Recognition' would have been better
served, had those who WERE active in the unit leadership also been
honored. THOSE awards, properly done, would have given the
serious-minded watching, a sort of mental, "There, See?"

Reply-Sorry Fred, I Can't Agree! "Our Boys" need to know we are as
'imperfect' at times, as We Say They Are. Levity is part of Life, it is
what keeps me and a LOT of other people, from licking ice-cub trays in
the middle of the night, or anything of choice.
A-ward, Re-Ward, Warm Fuzzies, Atta-Boys, are all part of my long
Scouting career Fred, I am truly Sorry you haven't been as fortunate.
Tasteful, Short, Well-Planned and Timed, "Spoofs" can play an important
part of any groups' program.
But then, That's Just My Opinion.
