They might be right about that one, but the boys don't want their dads
around,
either. When my son was a Scout and I was an ASM we avoided each other.
And it hasn't changed now that he's an ASM and I'm on the troop committee.
So, if we take all the moms out of the program and we take all the dads out of
the program, what do we have left? I think that committee member needs an
education.

You got that right, and we're all paid the same (at least the volunteers
are).
I mentioned that I serve on a troop committee, but my primary position is as
Unit Commissioner, and both the District Commissioner and Council Commis-
sioner are ladies, and they do a damned fine job, too.
