I might be a stick in the mud, but I'd like the parents to see what we are
about, too. I use this same night to talk with the parents and let them
know what they can do to help thier sons' Scouting career be fun and
safe. I also use this time to let them know that we (the adult staff) don't
do it all by ourselves. We need them.
I also talk to the boys as a group at that point. I talk to them later when
they join in a SMC.
