We just finished our annual Trail's End popcorn fundraiser. With an increase
in registered boys, we had only a third of them sell popcorn, and total sales
were about half of last year's sales. We do split profits 50/50 on every
fundraiser, and offered a pizza party to the patrol with the highest sales. We
(the adults) were hoping this would have allowed us some equipment purchases,
but now it looks like it will barely cover our recharter! Trail's End is a
good product, reasonably priced, but a lot of boys just did not try to sell
anything. What do others do to promote fundraisers to their scouts?
