It's always nice to have the pastor visit the unit, but it's even nicer to
see
the unit present, in full uniform, at a chruch service and for the
parishioners
to see a boy, who just happens to be a Boy Scout, receive his church's
religious award. I have been and/or continue to work with units sponsored
by Catholic, Protestant and Jewish churches or other faith-based organiza-
tions and it's always better to keep award in a religious setting and then
only
acknowledge it (with the uniform knot) at a unit CoH. But that's just MHO.
