A good start is the last page of the insignia control guide that shows
the designs of all the appropriate flags. Troop flags are red over
white, with the BSA logo - Tenderfoot badge and the initials BSA - in
the center. The unit type and number are in the red half, over the name
of the chartering organization, with the city/town, state, and council
name below the insignia in the white section. Out of country units may
have the name of the town/base and country in the bottom half instead of
the town and council. Varsity, Post, and Pack flags follow the some
guidelines with the background colors being Blaze and Brown, Red and
Blue, and Yellow and Blue respectively.
