Mark, I haven't seen a ceremony, but our have always been presented at
the end of a Sunday Mass. We pretty much let the priest do/say
whatever he wants, which is usually a minute or two of praise and
encouragement for the boy and his family. If we know it's coming far
enough in advance, sometimes we can get the choir director to choose a
couple of special songs.
