Bruce - I did it again. Not clear enough - or long enough to
be complete. I only tried to report what was reported at
local SMF training and comiss meeting. IF a scout does NOT
earn Eagle before April 1 - he will not be able to count
Safty and sports as required - RIGHT? RIGHT!
Therefore - logicly - do the math - any scout that is NOT
already LIFE - WILL DEFFINITLY NEED PF for Eagle - correct?
Therefore as a practical mater - it is required as of NOW.
It takes a while to earn PF - they need to start working on it!!!!
And scouts that have earned or will earn Sports or Safty
before April 1, while they COULD count them for Star
or LIFE - can not count them as required for Eagle -
SINCE they could not earn eagle before April 1.
This goes back to what I had tried to get you to understand
before. The would then need to earn 2 more required!!!
Any scout that has NOT already earned Life by NOW - WILL
need PF MERIT badge for Eagle - that is totally and
absolutly fact and truth!
Sorry if I was not clear enough in my first posting.
The math seemed obvious to me.
