Caffeine is a diuretic, whether in coffee or in Coca Cola. If one has
excessive bodily fluids, diuretics can be prescribed for one. If one does
not have excessive fluids, diuretics are unnecessary.
As a diuretic it causes loss of body fluids and is not a good idea in hot
weather. Neither is Coca Cola or anything else with caffeine.
