Re: Looking for Addresses

I cannot tell you anyone famous who sent me a congratulatory letter upon
becoming an Eagle. I do recall the friends who sent notes and telegrams. I
do know that Nixon signed everything, but only because his place in history.
I jokingly tell everyone that Nixon signed my card on 6/9/69. Just a story.
Letters from famous people who have no knowledge of the Eagle, seems a
little like wasted paper. I know we constantly search the list for
addresses of people who do this. But I would rather have a letter from an
unknown Eagle, who knows what it means than a famous movie star, who has no
idea who or what I have become?
