Steve,
The copy that you turn in to Council says: "Applicant will turn
in this portion to his unit leader for record posting." This is
the unit copy that SOME councils are asking to be turned in so
they can verify the registration of the merit badge counselors.
Our council does not do this (we have better uses for limited
resources). If your council is requesting the turn in of this
copy of the blue card, then see about making a copy of them
before turning them in.
