Hi Everyone,
I'm back from New York. Almost recovered from a week of conference
living (very little sleep and only one meal a day). It seemed like I
was forever rushing off to a class and never had enough time. It felt
very similar to Woodbadge. (No flames please)
Anyway, my presentation went very well and was received surprisingly
well. I met several Scouters from both Boy and Girl Scouts that said
they were thrilled to get the information. I had developed a new
flyer to hand out. Took about 500 of them and only brought back
around 100.
New York was wonderful! It is a city made for AD/HD people. It
operates on the same schedule as us, up all night long! The only
unfriendly people I met were the hotel desk clerks. I only had one
evening to sightsee, but managed to see everything I had wanted to
see. Got to see two Broadway plays and I'm hooked for life now!
I've missed you guys and am anxious to see what everyone's talking
about.
