Ladies & Gentlemen,
Part of this message is a bit off topic. My apologies should anyone be
upset by it.
An acquaintance sent me the link for "Time Magazine's Person of the
Century". [http://www.pathfinder.com/time/time100/toppersonmain.html ]
On that site you may vote for your choice. I do not see Lord B-P on the
list, maybe because the count of votes is quite high; 487,968 (32.95%)
for the top of the list (which happens to be Jesus Christ). The original
message also informed me that the site is case sensisite. So watch your
capitalizations.
Back to Scouting ....
One of my sons is recieving his Eagle on Nov 6, 1998. There will be 4
Eagles presented that night, 3 of whom are sons of Eagles! My son is the
second of my sons to earn his Eagle, 15th in the family in four
generations of Eagles. The first was my grandfather in 1915. My father,
his 3 brothers, my mother (Yes! Golden Eaglet, 1939, GSA) and her
brother were the second generation. I, my 3 brothers and 2 cousins were
the 3rd generation. My sons are the 4th. There is one more son and 2
nephews to go for the fourth generation. Then on to the 5th!
