Seriously, though, the compensation that U.S. Scouters is the same
received by Scouters around the world: the chance to help young people
grow, advance and mature. And occasionally even a 'thanks'.

To which I will add; For myself and the many I have known in Scouting,
there is no money, nor tangible goods, that could ever replace that look
on a young boy's face, as he approaches you, awkwardly, and in his own
way, often with glistening eyes, and says, "Thanks!"
You couldn't PAY ME, to give that up!!
