"Make Your Own Patrol Equipment" pages!

(no name) ((no email))

Hi Scouters!

I've *finally* scanned the last of the pages from the old Patrol
Leaders' Handbook and uploaded them to my website. I'll have a set
of links from Leaders' Online {tm} later in the day today which
will point to those pages.

Some time ago (and I do apologize to the Scouter that asked me
initially for this information!!), a Scouter posted to the list and
to me privately and asked if there was some information out there
on the "web" that showed how to make simple tentage, backpacks, and
other patrol and personal gear. Since I've had the old Patrol
Leaders' Handbook (the one I used as a Patrol Leader and later
someone gave me an older one....good resources!!), I found the
pages and bookmarked them with a stick-it note. I couldn't
remember why I stick-noted it until I was cleaning out a box of
"stuff to post to the Internet" last night (at 2:45am!!) and found
the note I made to myself.

I will post the URL to the twelve pages of "JPGs" later on today.
I've got my brother-in-law coming to visit and will spend some time
with him today.

I've also scanned again the old "CAW" (Compass, Anchor, Wings")
emblem for those like me that wanted to use that old emblem on
teeshirts and other items. It's a much better scan than the one I
did earlier, and a little larger. I will also place that as part
of the pages this afternoon or later.

I'm really sorry for the long delay in getting this all together
and out...there's a lot of other things I'll be posting up as the
weekend goes along, because I'm now to the point where there's
nothing else to box up and all's left are things that must be
packed out by themselves!!

(*I just pray I've gotten a large enough truck for all of this!!*)
