Release form

I recently became advisor to a new Venturing Post (Only about 2 weeks since
we chartered). Up until this point I had only been an ASM and never had to
deal with issues of liability. I recently joined Scouts-L and noticed the
issue being brought up. We are a High-Adventure post and some of our
planned activities can be the setting for more than one hospital trips, so
this is a big issue. Are release forms done on an event-to-event basis or
is there one that encompasses all events in a period? Also, does anybody
have an example of the one that they use. The one in my Venturing guide is
very non-inclusive (I think). I just ordered a "Guide to Safe Scouting" but
it hasn't arrived yet and I don't know if this issue is covered in it. Any
input would be appreciated.
