I remember a conversation with someone who reminded me that no matter what,
the LDS church was going to have a say in the coed issues of Scouting. They
do not allow coed groups in their church and they are the largest church
group associated with Scouting. In the west some states have more than 60%
of their units LDS.
Could be interesting.

In August I learned that a task force is being created in the Cub
Scouts area to explore making co-ed the Cub, and I presume the
Webelos, program levels.
