I remember seeing in some of my handbooks from the 'olden days' a standard
troop or patrol position of Gamemaster, whose duties were pretty much
as you describe your invention. I personaly think it is a great idea. Not
being a current 'official' position there won't be a patch for it, but
they have these neat blanks that a person can work wonders with.
