Prayer for Lisa Raskind
Almighty God look down upon your child Lisa and be there for her.
She is in need of Your help. Give her the strength and courage to
persevere onward despite what tests may show. Let your Loving Presence
come to her in her time of need and may she feel Your presence when she
undergoes surgical procedures that may prove to be painful and scary. In
the end Lord we ask that if it be Your Will make Lisa healthy and strong
once again. And if it is not Your Will then be with her and protect her
and her soul and spirit as she passes through this time of trial. Let her
know that never once will she ever be alone for You are always with
her...forever.
Show her that no matter what happens she is indeed loved both on
Earth and in Heaven above. Let her determination and dedication that
helped her earn the Silver Beaver Award shine through to help her
overcome this testing. Lord God be with her in the coming days and show
her the way and guide her onward. For Lisa, we pray. Amen.
Prayer for her family
Knowledge of trial and fear of what the future may bring makes us
scared Lord. Calm Lisa's family and take that fear away and show them the
way to help her through these difficult times. God, help them to know
that no matter what happens; that no matter how difficult to understand
why, that it is all within Your Great Plan. Be there also for Lisa's
family in the form of kind, compassionate doctors and nurses, and most
importantly as a Loving Presence. Protect both Lisa and her family Lord.
Be with them always. Amen.
