I'm sorry, this is untrue.
For one thing, only "bright and influential leaders" in the US *CAN* be
Eagle Scouts -- it is an American Scouting award. That automatically
eliminates the other 800+ countries' leaders.
If Betsey meant to refer to US Presidents, then Gerald R Ford is the only
one who was ever an Eagle Scout.
If the reference was to the sitting Congress, I wouldn't want to try to
name more than four or five, although statistically there should be 40,
who were ever Eagle Scouts.
