Now you got yourself a REAL situation!
I will think this one over (having in mind the damage once done to a Troop
of my own by a controlling and overprotective Mom with an acting-out child
who was my committee chair). Hoo boy.
This may be Charter Organization Head or District Commissioner or District
Executive time. Some folks need to be told how much they are valued and how
much they are in need of handling their differences in a grown up manner. I
think you have made a major first step by acknowledging both value and
problems, instead of rejecting one or the other out of hand because of one
facet of their characters.
