The problem is not the killing of the chicken. As long as
chicken are raised and killed for fod I see their death as
justified.
The problem is not a troop planning to kill chickens. If the
boys plan such an event that is fine with me.
I object to grownups organizing chicken killings without
boy input. I object to chicken-killings coming as a surprise
to the boys which knew nothing of what was going on. I
call that child abuse.
