Without getting involved in a debate over the "rightness" or
"wrongness" of the situation, my understanding is not that BSA is
stopping the award, but rather that they are not allowing the award
to be officially worn on the uniform. I realize this may be
splitting hairs (I was going to say splitting hares, but that would
have raised the "killing chickens" thread again) but there is a
difference.
