Isn't she sort of shooting herself in the foot here? Let's see, no school
night for Scouting, no new recruits. No new recruits, dwindling pack. No

Scouting...

I'm sure what she's saying is, "If you don't support me with FOS, I won't
support you with SNFS." After all, why should she have to waste her time,
right? I do not believe there is an FOS commitment in your charter (I very
well could be wrong - someone with a charter handy, please correct me if so!)
but I understand that FOS is part of her review. She needs your support
there, just as her support for SNFS is nice to have. (I haven't had a DE at
SNFS for years, and we've had an FOS presentation EVERY year - where's the
justice in that?) On the other hand, the number of units and Scouts is also
part of her review, I'm told, so it behooves her to support your SNFS!
