Okay, "endemic" was too broad a term, "more than just local" would have
been more precise.
However, based on some of the public responses to Branden's original
question, to which the ONLY correct answer is that the staff does not have
the authority to do what they are doing, apparently it is broader than
just here and in Branden's course.
I apologize for my imprecise language and realize that there are many
courses where these attitudes are not evident. I, personally, however,
have not been convinced as to which group are the exception rather than
the rule.
