After reading your posting I am forced to say job well done.
If you try to make a horse drink and it doesn't want to you will wind up
with a dead horse.
you did right.
I know of Scouters that are back stabbers, rumor mongers etc. I am
thinking of one in particular the over the years has forced Indiviudals
who design, and chair district and council activities to shift units.
through these methods. so it is no idle worry of the damage such can do.
My guess is that you had to change troops.
