The troop uniform in Wood Badge is a decision made by the Course
Director. It's his call. =20
Every course I've been on staff, shorts have been standard, HOWEVER,
we have had some participants whose religious faith forbade shorts.
They were allowed to wear long pants. If there is a good reason for
deviaitng from the troop uniform, it should be allowed, but there
needs to be a good reason.
